FAQ’s

Here I’ve answered some of the most common questions about how I work.

Whether it's for an architectural shoot here in Toronto, or an international commercial project—this FAQ is a great place to start. I’ve covered the questions I get most often, from pricing and licensing to how I work with drones and what kind of turnaround you can expect. If something’s not covered here, feel free to reach out—happy to chat.

What Services Do You Offer?

I specialize in high-end architectural photography and video production, collaborating with developers, architects, designers, and agencies to craft purposeful visual narratives that turn heads.

While architectural imaging is the foundation of my work, I bring the same level of quality and intention to a wide range of commercial projects, including:

Architecture & Interiors · Brand Experiences · Events · Lifestyle · Unit Stills · Automotive · Real Estate · Hospitality · Portraiture · Culinary · Aerial Imaging · Video Production · Fine Art · Behind The Scenes

What is Your Service Area?

I’m based in Toronto, Canada, and work locally, nation wide, and internationally.

How Much Does Architecture Photography Cost?

Local Toronto photography commissions start at $859. Commercial, architectural, and interior design shoots range from $2,500 to $10,000+, depending on scope, licensing, and logistics.

Every commission has a bespoke approach as is quoted individually. Please reach out for a personalized estimate.

Do You Require a Deposit?

Yes. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking and begin pre-production. This secures your shoot date and covers planning and prep.

Are You Insured?

Absolutely. I carry commercial liability and personal equipment insurance. Drone operations are also backed by dedicated aviation liability coverage for peace of mind at every stage.

Are You Licensed for Drone Work?

Yes. I hold a Transport Canada Advanced Operations RPAS License, supported by in-person flight training and over five years of experience operating drones in dense urban environments.

Who Owns the Photos and Video?

All work remains the intellectual property of Adrian Stiles Photography and is protected under the Canadian Copyright Act.

Delivered content is licensed based on usage. Several licensing tiers are available depending on your needs. Full buyouts are also offered—just ask.

Can I Own the Work Outright?

Yes. If full rights are needed, I offer complete license transfers.

Do You Provide RAW Files?

RAW files are not included in standard deliverables to maintain quality control and consistency.

However, RAW file delivery is available for agency clients with in-house editing teams and specific brand guidelines.

How Does Licensing Work?

All content is licensed according to usage—social, web, print, or global campaigns. This keeps pricing fair and scalable.

Buyout options are available for full exclusivity and unlimited use.

Third-party licensing (e.g. to vendors, collaborators, press) is may be sold by Adrian Stiles Photography without notice. If exclusivity is required, I can tailor a license to reflect that.

What’s Your Turnaround Time?

General commercial work is typically delivered within 2–4 weeks. For architectural projects, final delivery is made within 2 weeks of proof selection.

Need it sooner? Rush options are available.

What Equipment Do You Use?

I use professional, industry-leading equipment to deliver exceptional results:

Leica SL2 · Leica M240 · Fujifilm GFX 100S II · DJI Mavic 2 Pro + Mini 4 Pro

I can provide ultra-high-resolution stills up to 400MP and video up to 5K, giving you maximum flexibility for cropping, multi-platform use, and detail-oriented campaigns.

Do You Edit In-House?

Yes. All photography and most video content is edited in-house to maintain a consistent and polished visual style. For larger projects, I collaborate with a trusted network of high-end editors.

How Much Notice Is Required to Book?

While I can occasionally accommodate last-minute bookings, I recommend reaching out at least 4 weeks in advance for large or multi-day projects.

Ongoing and long-term partnerships are always welcome.
